Easy on and off for a five year old. He loves the color. Last Christmas he received the blue ones which he loved too. I buy my grandsons new Hunter boots every Christmas. They wear them practically every day and the boots hardly show any wear even though they get plenty of lively activity! I size up every year to keep up with their growth, not because the boots are worn out. Love them! (The grandsons and the boots as well.)
