Short Boot
Great quality as you would expect from Hunter, maybe a little hard to get on and off but once on a great fit.
Extremely Comfortable
Ideal for rainy and windy days or for the unexpected rainshowers. Very comfortable, as if you were in slippers all day Im between sizes, so I own two short pairs: the small with thin socks, for spring and autumn and the big with thick socks, for winter.
Comfortable and true to size.
Bought these for my husband to walk the dog. He told me that they are comfortable. Overall very pleased.
God quality and design
These are quality boots with simple classic design. I bought mens boots for my granddaughter because she wears size 12 in womens shoes. However, they did not fit her because her calf wouldnt fit into the boot. Too bad. They are nice looking boots.
Treat yourself to properly made Wellies.
Absolutely brilliant! Conformable and ultra stylish Wellies.
Great product
Exactly as expected as we have used Hunter boots for many years. Bought the short legged ones this time as my husband is getting on in years and the shorter ones are easier to get on. Snugger in the leg than I expected and perhaps would have got the next size up if I had realized. Still they pass muster and will be well worn.
Know Your Size
In previous years I've owned men's Original Tall, Norris Field, and 3 pairs of the Original Short. Knowing your size is crucial! My normal shoe size is a 9.5, in Nike, Adidas, and even UGGs I wear a size 10 and they fit well with about 1/4in (6.35mm) of space. You don't want a shoe that's too tight where you either feel like you're going to lose circulation or even feel like it's uncomfortable to take your first few steps, additionally you also don't want a shoe that's too big/ loose where if you stepped into a thick puddle of mud and get stuck you may end up losing that game of 'tug-of-war' or having it so loose that it rubbing on your skin could potentially cause blisters. Some of us out there are in between sizes, and it sucks because we don't know if it's a good idea to size up or down when manufacturers sell whole sizes only. With that said there are a number of factors that can play into it, such as, are you in between sizes that are closer to the size up or down? or are you planning to wear them on a specific time of the year (seasonal). Last year I bought a pair of my first short boots. I got them in Arctic Moss and in size 10, they were quite comfortable when I wore them with normal everyday socks, but then the longer I wore them with thick socks and the fleece liners the more I thought about sizing down the next time that I order a new pair. About a few days ago I decided to experiment, I bought two pairs, one in size 9 and the other in size 10. Upon unboxing and trying them on the size 9 definitely has a smaller silhouette and about a centimeter shorter in height. As I'm trying them on it was something else, the cushioning felt more natural and soft, walking wasn't clunky and loud, and it didn't sound like I was walking with a heavy boot. So then I proceeded to check out the size 10 and they were definitely bigger, but like last years boot it still felt good; a little loose since my feet slid a bit, however I had a pair of the fleece liners and tried those on and they felt just as natural as the size 9 with the normal everyday socks. My conclusion was I should wear the size 9 on a normal basis for normal rain and if it was a bit cold and there's slush on the ground I could wear the 10 with the fleece liner socks.
Unexpectedly pleasant to wear
Surprisingly supportive and comfy I've never had rubber boots and expected them to be rather wobbly / chunky. Now the dog walks attire has moved to the next level of comfort =)
The Best Boots
I just received a pair of Mens Hunter Insulated short rain boots. I ordered a side up and the fit was perfect. I can wear these everyday. Really comfortable.
All around great purchase
I really love these boots. Living in Maine requires a good pair of boots. No offense to LLBEAN..but these are dripping with style
Fab Wellies
Bought these for a birthday present. He was really pleased with them. Great colour and size 9 fits perfectly with enough room for thicker socks in the cold. Look good.
