Significantly wider than the Huntress. These are xxl calf in comparison. Way too wide and heavy. There is so much space, I can put my arm up to the elbow inside with my leg Where does it list calf circumferences for any boots? Size chart says the same for every type.

I’ve always gotten the Huntress wide calf boots since the original ones are too tight in the calf— but this new wide calf version is significantly wider. The Huntress had the perfect amount of extra room for me to wear with pants- but these are so crazy wide and heavy that I look ridiculous. I wouldn’t just call these wide-calf boot's- these are extra wide calf. I can literally fit both of my hands up to the wrists inside with them on. Only order these if the Huntress boots are too tight on you also. I obviously have to return these and hopefully the Huntress will come back in stock soon, but as a side note- the top is awkwardly rectangular. I imagine they round out with larger calves and after some wear, but it still seems kind of awkward out of the box.

Bought these to replace an old pair of Hunter classics which are too tight and tend to cut off my circulation. These fit extremely well with room to spare with leggings tucked in! Whew! Great for working in my wet, wooded lot.
Perfect Width for Plus Size Gals
I am 5�7 and weigh right around 300lbs and I am pretty well proportioned. These boots fit perfectly and look great! I usually wear a size 11 in shoes so that I have a little wiggle room but they were out of the 11�s. So, I bought the 10�s instead and they fit pretty well. They�re not snug but are nicely fitted in all the right places. The best part is that the calves fit!!! For my weight, my calves are about average. The boots may have a little room to spare in the calf but not too much. So, if you�re a gal with super large calves, check the measurement of your legs first. Otherwise, most of us plus size gals will be delighted with these boots! I hope this helps.
Too Wide and heavy
I have two pairs of the original wide fit boots and I thought having a little more room would be nice for jeans with these newer ones, but they�re wayyyy too wide for my legs and are extra clunky and too heavy on my foot. Bummed that I didn�t realize I missed the return when window to exchange them for the original wide calf again instead.
Too wide
Although I appreciate the option for a wide fitting original tall boot. These are a bit too wide. I�m keeping them because the tall originals are far too narrow. I very much hope that Hunter recognises that the originals are narrow fitting, and perhaps offer a standard and wide fit, along with the narrow originals. I�m 5�9 medium build (12/14) and have no issues with standard fit long boots from other retailers.

The best wellies!! My last pair of hunters lasted me 5+ years. These are my second pair and I honestly love them. They are exactly how they are described. They�re wide fit and are still very roomy.
Amazing wide calf fit!
I have really wide calves and these boots fit perfectly! Although I am short, these boots do come right up to my knee, I wish they were an inch or two below that. Otherwise they are a great fit and super comfortable!
Max calf circumference
Still a little too tight in calf and too loose in ankle. I was at the max of width on the measurements so might work well if your not at the calf maximum

These are so great! The width is perfect and so is the fit. I have such a hard time with tall boots, but these are exactly what I�ve been looking for! Only thing I wish was different - wish there wasn�t a buckle�it doesn�t do anything and always pops open.

I have large calves (15.25-15.75 inches) and these fit perfectly without being sloppy or too big. Gals with larger than average calves know the struggle to find tall boots that fit comfortably around your calves and these are perfect. Bonus was that my fleece tall boot socks fit these perfectly. So happy!
